Ulasan 2 - System Boot

Pada ulasan kali ini saya akan membahas mengenai sub bab materi mata kuliah Sistem Operasi pada week01 yaitu system boot. saya akan mengulas berdasarkan bersumber dari video youtube, berikut informasinya. Judul video :  Linux Boot Process Durasi : 5:14 menit Pengarang : HandsonERP URL : https://youtu.be/ZtVpz5VWjAs Boot proses terdiri dari 6 step yakni BIOS, MBR, GRUB, Kernel, Init, dan runlevel. pada BIOS system akan melakukan system integrity check dimana akan mencari, load dan eksekusi MBR bootloader. MBR terletak pada sector pertama dari HDD dimana ukurannya lebih kecil dari 512 byte dan menyimpan info tentang GRUB lalu menjalankannnya. pada GRUB kita dapat memlih kernel image yang terinstall di system, setelah itu GRUB akan men-load kernel dan init rd lalau kernel akan  mengekseskusi init program. pada proses ini dapat menentukan run level yang akan dijalankan dimana run level 7 level.  pada video ini cukup jelas menggambarkan seperti apa proses-proses yang dijalakan ole
